GSR : The Gallery

GSR The Gallery is an independent company owned and operated by Gabrielle and Steve Robson.

The Gallery is an Edwardian building, situated in Clarence Street, Staines.
The Gallery is set in the conservation area, opposite the Old Town Hall and Market Square on the first floor at numbers 5 to 7, Our entrance is next door to Brook Street employment agency, as shown in the photos below.

We are fortunate to be able to offer excellent road rail and air links to The Gallery. The M25 (J13), M4, M3, A30 and A4 all provide a direct route to the studios.
Parking restrictions now apply around the area 7 days a week, but there are plenty of parking places available. the nearest council car park is at the top of Clarence Street. At the top turn right at the lights then first left into the multi level car park.
Council parking charges around us are: £1.50 for up to 2 hours, £2.10 for up to 3 hours, £2.80 for 3 to 5 hours, £6.20 for 5 hours onwards. After 1900 (7 pm) parking is free.There is a facility in the car park for paying over your mobile phone. But you have to register first and for one visit it probably isn't worth the bother.

The British Rail station in Staines is approximately 10 minutes walk away; detailed directions are available upon request.
Heathrow Airport is equally just a 20 minute taxi ride away.

The facility consists of two studios both tastefully furnished and decorated. Each is fitted with the latest technology, including: a DVD recorder(all formats),(additional DVD duplicating equipment is available on request), VHS Tape recorder, NTSC,SVHS, NICAM TV and stereo monitor, audio recording equipment. A Umatic video recorder and Over-Head Projector are also available on request.
Telephone lines can also be made available for internet use.
There is an area available for the preparation of food and other stimulus material, with an adjoining lounge in which respondents can wait in comfort.

Recruitment is available direct; we are in touch with a number of recruiters in the local area, that send groups into The Gallery on a regular basis.

STUDIO ONE

The respondents room is sympathetically furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, positioned around a coffee table. The pictures on the wall, the fire place, and the large mirrors give an aire of a family's living room. This non-clinical, neutral environment enables the respondents to relax.

The viewing room of the first studio offers seating for 10-12 clients to observe through the "one-way mirror", as well as a work area should they wish to take notes.
In addition there are two large sofas, for clients who wish to view via the TV monitor.

STUDIO TWO

The second studio has a similar layout to the first, with a slightly smaller respondents room, capable of seating 9 people on individiual chairs, around a coffee table. Adjoining this is the clients room, seperated by a large single "one-way mirror' to allow viewing. We recommend that 5/6 clients use this room, although seating for 9 is available.
